WHAT KINTSUGI...

Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese art that consists of repairing broken or chipped ceramics by reassembling them and gilding the joints with lacquer and gold powder, in order to create new value and renewed beauty. Rather than concealing the damage, the traces are gently embraced and offered a quiet light.
The cracks and chips do not disappear; they become a new landscape inscribed in the object, where the passage of time and the memories shared with it seem to live on, softly.
